Hi, I'm Gina. Welcome to my kitchen! I started this blog as place to post our family's favorite recipes and share helpful tips on things like budgeting, meal planning, and homemaking. I hope it helps my readers develop enthusiasm for home cooked family meals and makes the kitchen seem a little less intimidating. Some of the best times had as a family are spent around the dinner table, so I'd like to help you get there more often! I hope you'll leave my kitchen with a few good recipes, a new tip, and a healthy dose of my quirky Midwestern charm.
I, Gina, am a 30 something homemaker. I was recently given the opportunity to stay at home with my children and I love every minute of it. I have a passion for homemaking and outside of cooking and baking I enjoy plants, gardening and creating homeopathic medicines, embroidery, and listening to podcasts (fiction and true crime). I am married to my husband, Daniel, whom I met when we worked together in the dental industry several years back. He is a denture technician but also enjoys carpentry and home improvement projects. We have two beautiful daughters, Olivia & Felicity... and yes, they're twins! They are currently 3 years old and most enjoy playing with their dolls, Emma and Ethan. We are a mixed nationality, Mexican/American family and I think the food that I cook is a reflection of that. I have spent alot of time researching Authentic Mexican Cooking and, over time, have perfected many traditional dishes. I am very excited to share them with you.
I am creating this blog website to supplement my YouTube Channel, Gina's Family Kitchen. SO MANY of my followers have been requesting printable versions of my recipes soooo... we're here! I will post all of my new recipes here, and will embed the current video for your convenience. For those of you who watch me on Youtube, check the description box for a link to the blog post where you can now print the recipes. I hope you all enjoy this new way to access my content.
In the near future, I will be creating a free PDF E-Cookbook of my top 10 recipes from YouTube If you are interested, please subscribe below!
